The room was cozy, clean, and had all the essentials. Loved the proximity to attractions and the charming hosts! Paul’s recommendations were spot-on, and I really appreciated all the storage space in the room.
For a place so lovely, why are the pubs on vacation? I mean, come on, a lady needs options!

I had an amazing stay! The breakfast was incredibly generous, and the pasta dinner was a highlight. The room was spotless but was a tad smaller than expected from photos. I’d definitely return!

cozy Deluxe Double Room, Netflix availability, proximity to Wasdale
If you like big rooms, you'll feel cramped here!!! The small town lacks charm and needs some serious sprucing up!!! Those old-fashioned taps in the ensuite can be a hassle to use!!!

Seascale adventures by the beach 🏖️
The brekkie was proper lekker! Paul helped us out with local tips, and the room was super comfy, even had Netflix—what a jol! Just a skip to the beach, really chilled vibe.
Only thing was the ensuite taps—old school hot and cold, a bit of a mission.

The cozy room offered great comfort, but the lack of nearby restaurants was disappointing. Perfect spot for beach access and bike tours!

our stay was super enjoyable! the location was perfect, just a stroll from train station. the room was big and clean, and the owners were really nice and helpful. they even recommended a taxi for our hikes since we didn’t have a car. breakfast was huge and tasty, with all kinds of options, and dinner was just as good!
only thing i noticed was a lack of restaurants nearby. also, some local pubs were closed when we were there.

I loved the cozy room with plenty of storage and well-equipped tea facilities. The breakfast options were fantastic, with large portions and tasty cooked meals. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great local tips. The location was ideal for nearby attractions like Scafell Pike and the beach. the taps in the ensuite were a bit old-fashioned, making them tricky to use. more nearby dining options would have been nice, as I noticed some local pubs were closed during my stay.

Fantastic breakfast and helpful hosts!
I had a wonderful stay! The breakfast was cooked to order with generous portions, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating, especially with our early morning plans for the Coast to Coast ride. The room was cozy, and the cleanliness really stood out. I did notice a bit of dampness in some areas of the property, which could use attention.
